Firefighter Pay operates firefighterpay.co.uk. Privacy requests can be sent to policepayuk@gmail.com.

Calculator and planning inputs

Free calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are not sent to Firefighter Pay. Premium workspaces store their content in local browser storage on your device. Clearing site data removes it.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We send the selected product and return URL to a secure server function, and Stripe collects the payment details. Firefighter Pay does not receive or store full card details. The checkout session identifier is used to verify access to the purchased product.

Analytics

Google Analytics is loaded only after you accept optional cookies. It can process usage and device information to help us understand site performance. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent use of the calculators or purchased tools.

Legal bases and retention

Optional analytics relies on consent. Payment processing is necessary to perform the purchase contract and meet legal obligations. Stripe and our hosting providers retain records under their own policies and applicable law. Local browser data remains until you or the browser removes it.

Your rights

Depending on applicable UK data-protection law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We may need information sufficient to locate a payment record before responding.

Processors and international transfers

The site uses Firebase/Google for hosting and secure functions, Stripe for payments, and Google Analytics only with consent. Those providers may process data outside the UK using their published transfer safeguards.
