Terms of use and purchase

Last updated: 24 August 2026

About these terms

These terms govern use of firefighterpay.co.uk and purchases of its digital planning tools. Contact policepayuk@gmail.com with questions.

Information and estimates

Content and calculators provide general information and planning estimates. They are not payroll, pension, tax, legal, medical, recruitment or financial advice. Official circulars, contracts, payslips, scheme administrators and the recruiting service remain authoritative.

Premium digital tools

Premium prices are shown in pounds sterling beside checkout and are one-time payments unless a page explicitly says otherwise. Access begins after Stripe confirms payment. The tool, its updates and any included period of access are described on the product page at purchase.

Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel before completing Stripe checkout without charge. Because digital access starts immediately after payment, statutory cancellation rights may be affected once supply begins. This does not limit rights where a product is faulty, misdescribed or otherwise protected by law. Contact us promptly with the product and purchase details.

Acceptable use

You may use outputs for personal planning. You must not bypass payment controls, interfere with the service, scrape it in a way that disrupts availability, resell access, or present our calculators as an official fire-service or pension-authority product.

Availability and changes

We work to keep tools available and sources current but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every local rule is covered. We may correct calculations, improve features or retire a tool; material changes will not remove statutory consumer rights.

Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, Firefighter Pay is not responsible for loss caused by treating an estimate as an official individual decision or by relying on information that a named primary source has since replaced.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law applicable in England and Wales, without removing mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
