Turn a duty pattern into dates you can actually use.
Preview repeating day, night and off-duty blocks, then export working dates to Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook as an ICS file.
Use the roster your service gives you
The national pay circular uses 42 hours per week in its hourly-rate calculation, but services operate different locally agreed duty systems. A familiar two-days, two-nights, four-off pattern is not a UK-wide guarantee.
What the calendar export contains
The ICS file creates all-day entries for Day and Night duties so you can add exact start and finish times after import. It intentionally excludes rest days, leave, swaps, detached duties and training changes. Check every generated date before relying on it.
Frequently asked questions
Does the file send my roster anywhere?
No. It is generated in your browser and downloaded locally.
Why are duties all-day events?
Shift start times vary. All-day entries avoid inventing hours and give you a safe template to edit in your calendar.
